Description
A connected car is a car system that can communicate instantly with other systems outside of the car. It allows the car to communicate internet access and data with different devices for safety-critical applications inside and outside the automobile. It is expected that cars will also be connected using dedicated short-range communications or cellular radios, working in the FCC-granted 5.9 GHz band with very down latency. The connected car safety systems added capabilities over time, including GPS locations and having voice and data simultaneously.
