Description
Tissue paper is made primarily by pulping and retting, adding color or components to strengthen or soften the product, increasing its water-holding capacity, and finally pressing the product into the desired form. Tissue papers are most commonly used for sanitation and hygiene. They are easy to use and are great for cleaning and wet drying surfaces. They are frequently used in domestic and commercial applications as paper towels, wet and pocket tissues, napkins, and toilet rolls. Tissue papers are less expensive to produce than plastics and fabrics, and they are readily available, biodegradable, and recyclable.
