Description
The insubstantial portion of electrically assigned equipment within a data center environment can make the installation a hotbed for fire. Factors such as electrical cabinets and server spaces, together with substantial electrical wiring, power cables, and an increased level of energy consumed to power structures, make fire detection and suppression systems necessary. When a fire breaks out occasionally, the solution can be just as dangerous as the fire itself. Conventional fire suppression systems such as sprinklers and chemical mechanisms can eliminate assets, as they develop more heat by utilizing more energy and can have a tremendous influence on the environment. Systems requiring excessive smoke to catch fires subsequently lose other assets. In many cases, data centers require multiple fire detection and suppression systems to mitigate threats.
